The Hidden Genius Project Welcomes New Leadership to Help Strategic Growth and Deepen Impact

At The Hidden Genius Project, we are excited to welcome four dynamic new members to The Hidden Genius Project’s Board of Directors: Robert Eric Jones, Sean Frazier, Jason Madison, and Brenda Martinez. Each brings a powerful mix of experience, vision, and commitment that will help us strengthen our mission to train and mentor Black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Their arrival comes at a time when our work is more urgent—and more promising—than ever. With their leadership, we’re poised to continue growing our reach while deepening our support for Geniuses and their communities.

Robert Eric Jones is a seasoned operations executive and Vice President at Comcast’s Beltway Region, where he leads installation and service teams while shaping customer and employee experience strategies. His deep expertise in technical operations—along with his long-standing advocacy for equity and workforce development—make him a natural fit for our work. Robert’s focus on inclusive talent pipelines and scalable systems will provide valuable guidance as we expand our program delivery across regions.

Sean Frazier, Federal Chief Security Officer at Okta, has spent over two decades at the forefront of cybersecurity and digital identity. With a career spanning work with the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and leading tech firms, Sean brings a critical lens on data protection and public-private collaboration. His strategic guidance will help ensure the integrity of our evolving digital infrastructure while also informing the creation of inclusive learning pathways in underrepresented areas of technology.

Jason Madison has built a multifaceted career in finance, project management, and operations, with a focus on technology and innovation. From public accounting to enterprise strategy at major tech firms, he’s led complex teams and initiatives with clarity and care. Jason is also a dedicated mentor and community volunteer—and the father of a Hidden Genius alum. With deep expertise in finance, operations, and accounting, Jason brings a strategic lens to advising our next chapter of growth that is grounded in both executive experience and a personal commitment to uplifting Black male youth and their families.

Brenda Martinez brings an educator’s heart and a strategist’s mind to her work. A former classroom teacher with a strong record in community partnerships, Brenda has led initiatives that connect companies, schools, and nonprofits to support students in meaningful, lasting ways. Brenda contributes to the board as a trusted advisor on community engagement and cross-sector collaboration, drawing on her background in education and partnerships to help us build stronger, more connected support systems for our Geniuses.

Together, these four leaders reflect the kind of thoughtful, action-oriented guidance that defines our board. Their diverse backgrounds and shared commitment to excellence will help us keep growing—strategically, sustainably, and always with our Geniuses at the center.

As we look to the future, we’re grounded in a simple but powerful belief: when Black youth are given the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they deserve, they not only thrive—they lead.

We’re honored to welcome Robert, Sean, Jason, and Brenda to the team, and we’re excited for all that lies ahead!
