The Hidden Genius Project held its 2025 End-of-Summer Celebration on October 2 at Faithful Central Bible Church, 400 W. Florence Ave. in Inglewood. The event showcased the achievements of LA’s Geniuses and highlighted HGP’s ongoing commitment to mentoring Black male youth in technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
The Thursday evening program in Faithful’s “Living Room” drew about 300 friends and family members to see inspiring projects in technology, business, and leadership from Geniuses in the Intensive Immersion Program. Guests and media members also had the chance to interact with the 75 young Black men who are transforming their lives and neighborhoods through innovation.
CEO Dr. Brandon Nicholson said: “For the first time, we’re celebrating a wide range of programs, including our core Intensive Immersion Program, which has served young men in Los Angeles for over five years. Tonight, we’ll hear from some young people who participated in our inaugural Long Beach program and from those leading sports analytics with Team Inc., one of our key partners.
